Predoctoral Psychology Practicum and APPIC
Clinical Internship
Starting in September of 2008, Washburn Center for Children will accept two postdoctoral fellows in the Outpatient Department. This position is a one-year, fulltime commitment with an emphasis on clinical experience (including therapy and psychological evaluation), as well as involvement in the internship training program (e.g., supervision of psychology students, facilitating clinical/didactic seminar, helping to interview predoctoral applicants).
The fellowship provides opportunities for short- and long-term individual and family therapy primarily at one of Washburn’s satellite outpatient clinics in Hopkins or Brooklyn Park. Populations served include children, adolescents, and families, and possibly a small number of adult clients.
Postdoctoral fellows are offered a competitively salary, full medical and dental coverage, and paid vacation, holiday, and personal/sick days. Applicants will be informed of interview eligibility by April 30th. Applicants must have completed their Dissertation or Clinical Research Project by the onset of the fellowship.
