Mortenson Construction Company Transforms Washburn's Therapeutic Preschool Classroom
Children could hardly contain their excitement as they explored their newly renovated Family Focus classroom. The renovation was completed by Mortenson Construction Company through United Way's Caring Connection program.
Mortenson's transformation of the room made a huge impact on the young toddlers who are at-risk for neglect due to high levels of family stress. The children work with therapists to learn how to deal with the chaos in their young lives.
The transformed space - with new carpet, flooring, storage and painting - creates a calming
