Brighten A Child's Holiday Season
Washburn Center for Children invites you to brighten the holiday season of the children we serve by donating new toys. Nearly 55% of the children Washburn serves come from families with low incomes. Purchasing toys during the holiday season often puts a strain on the family's already stretched budget.
Please consider donating:
- Nonviolent toys for children of all ages (infant – 18 years)
- Gift cards to Target, Walmart, Kmart
- Gift cards to grocery stores (for families to purchase holiday meals)
Toy donations can be dropped off by December 9 at: 2430 Nicollet Avenue South in Minneapolis. If you would like to make a monetary gift toward the toy drive, please mail your donation to: Erin Zondervan, 2430 Nicollet Avenue South, Minneapolis MN 55404. Be sure to write "toy drive" on the memo line of your check.
