Washburn Center for Children is the place where parents, child care providers and schools turn for help. Our licensed and professional staff are experts in identifying and treating children, ages birth to 17, with challenges such as:
- Behavioral problems
- Anxiety
- Attention deficit disorder
- Trauma
- Depression
- Loss, grief or life changes
Assessment
Washburn works closely with each child and family to recommend what services or activities would be most helpful for the child's individual needs.
Individual and Family Therapy
Washburn's staff provides counseling and support for families and their children through comprehensive, child-focused assessment and treatment.
Preschool and Early Childhood Outreach
Washburn's early childhood services for infants, toddlers and preschoolers are provided in child cares, preschool centers, and in homes.
Intensive Classroom and Home-based Services
Washburn has a range of home-based and center-based services specifically for children who are experiencing more severe emotional or behavioral difficulties.
